A look back at our event highlights

Six weeks full of knowledge, networking and inspiration: from biodiversity and technological trends to exchanges in the Alps.

Our journey started at the beginning of October at the NRW Autumn Conference of the German Greenkeeper Association, which was dedicated entirely to the topic of “Biodiversity in practice”. The inspiring presentations on nature conservation measures on golf courses underlined the importance of sustainable maintenance concepts for the future.

This was immediately followed by another highlight: the Competence Day of the Golf Management Association Germany e.V. Here we were able to deepen our knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the golf industry. We were particularly impressed by the innovative approaches that combine ecological responsibility and economic efficiency.

October had another highlight in store for us: At the end of the month, we traveled to Kitzbühel for the 32nd AGA Annual Conference 2024. Nestled in the impressive Alpine landscape, the event offered a perfect combination of further training and networking. Exciting specialist seminars and workshops made the conference an unique experience.

At the same time, another part of our team attended the autumn conference and Greenkeeper Championships 2024 of the German Greenkeeper Association (Mitte e.V.). We were able to gain valuable insights into the topic of “resource management” and experience impressive machine demonstrations.

At the beginning of November, we went straight to the Golf Congress 2024 of the Golf Management Verband Deutschland e.V. in beautiful Chiemgau. At “Das Achental” resort, we exchanged ideas with the golf community from the GSA region, discussed current industry trends and made valuable contacts.

The grand final event was the 24th Days of Further Education of the Slovenian Greenkeeper Association on November 11 and 12, 2024 at the Hotel “Kompas” in Bled. The event impressed with fascinating presentations from experts in the industry, such as Dr. Thomas Nikolai from Michigan State University and John Mascaro from Turf-Tec International. Topics such as soil science, the history of pesticides and innovative, sustainable care concepts were vividly conveyed, and the practical exchange of best practices inspired us.

The time was characterized by exciting exchanges, important insights and inspiring conversations. A big thank you to all the organizers and participants who made these events so special. We look forward to integrating the insights gained into future projects!
