MiniMETOS Soil Underground permanently measures:
- Soil temperature
- Soil moisture
- Soil suction tension
Installation is possible everywhere. The device is installed in the soil a few centimetres below the sward. Ideally, close to a sprinkler, in order to prevent damage during aeration. The sensor can be positioned by a cable, which is connected to the actual device. The battery in the device guarantees an uninterruptible energy supply for at least 12 months. It is delivered with a 10 metre cable for convenient positioning.
The measurement results are transmitted in real time to the FieldClimate application on your mobile phone and thus are available at all times. Potential problems can be detected immediately and corresponding action taken before the effects become visible. The device is supplied with NB-IoT (“Narrowband-InternetofThings”) and is "Plug & Play". Communication is via an integrated SIM card.
