The µMetos Plus weather station is an extensively equipped measuring station. It measures:
- Air temperature
- Air humidity
- Precipitation
- Wind speed
- Wind direction
- Leaf wetness by means of its own sensor
- Soil temperature
- Soil moisture
- Soil suction tension
Power supply with a small solar panel. The measurement data is transmitted to FieldClimateTurfVIEW in the cloud or to the user's mobile phone. The data is therefore constantly available and changes can be reacted to quickly. The station is quick and easy to install. Its compact construction and attractive design do not disturb the visual appearance of a golf course in any way. The device is supplied with NB-IoT ("Narrowband-InternetofThings") and is "Plug & Play". Communication takes place via an integrated SIM card.
The measured values obtained serve as a data basis for planning irrigation and calculating spraying and working windows.
By means of the add-on module "Weather Forecast", particularly accurate forecasts for the location of the weather station are calculated. The weather data of the provider Meteoblu and the measurement data of the station itself serve as the data basis for these forecasts. These forecasts allow very precise recommendations for ideal fertilisation times before rainfall.
