Evergreen Turf Cover

The Evergreen Turf Cover is a growth film woven from polyethylene fibres. This highly developed material is allows light, air and water through. As a result of the very light weight (56 g/m²), the cover can be laid practically and quickly. As a result of the homogeneously increased temperature, you achieve faster germination of the seed, above all for new seeding during renovation. In parallel to this, you protect your seed from erosion, wind and birds. In spring and winter, the cover protects the grass against low temperatures and ensures stronger and earlier root development, as well as faster spread of the grass.

The cover can be ideally combined with lighting systems. When using in warmer times of the year, please regularly check soil moisture and soil surface temperature on your sports field. Our iMetos Soilguard soil meter is ideally suited for this. We are able to offer you all sizes up to one hectare, however in practice the size of 72x15 m has become established because this is most practical for spreading and storage of the cover. Furthermore, we recommend the Evergreen Turf Cover specifically for the strongly frequented penalty area. With the cover size adjusted by us, you can also accelerate repair work carried out during the season.
